I'm sure you can figure it out.
But where did you get your information about an update this month from?

This august thing stems from a Japanese tweet where someone from Korg said something along the lines of that they are working very hard on the next update, and hoped (or aimed) at being able to make an august release.

Korg hasn't promised anything about anything in regards to Gadget. Except adding audio tracks. And that's about it. That said, I'm sure (and I hope) that they will continue to grow the app down the road with new fun stuff available via IAP.

---I would be happy if I could use it with my dock, I think this was a tremendous blunder on their part alienating a large segment of iPad users. Thanks for the clarification though...

really enjoying this update. i had hoped that landscape mode would have meant that the gadgets would be larger, allowing for a comfortable keyboard experience when using the screen. oh well, at leas i can now use it more comfortably in the dock with the external 'board

the two new gadgets are very cool. i can see it being impossible to resist them as they arrive. wish the sampler had more plat options other than one-shot, and that the slicer's arp function allowed for random playback. will submit these as requests

---I agree with what you said about the update, it really does make a difference. I'm hoping maybe someday we'll see a Wavestation and M1 Gadget appear but for now this is going to be great. Thank you Korg!!

???

Kiev = Wavestation
Marseille = M1

more or less, no? need to do some hand-programming of "wave sequences", but still pretty close in functionality.

as for the new landscape mode, i actually like that it's the same size since it gives you access to the channel fader on the right side.

---Regarding the M1 and the Wavestation, they do sound very similar and seem to have the same waves. I think I'm expecting too much and will learn to be happy with this as it is, it's really very cool!
