@billcarroll: Well that's all subjective, isn't it? What's bugging to one person may be inspiring to another. That's why most people try before they buy.
@evildragon - I've only found this passage: "If you find for any reason it doesnt work as intended we are happy to refund also." from sbangs_air. What does "doesn't work as intended" mean? If I dislike the workflow or there are other things bugging me, or if I just don't like the sound after some testing, can I get my money back?
Another question comes to my mind, on the homepage it says "The software will allow 2 activations". Does that mean 2 activations at the same time, so I can run the product on 2 computers or does that mean 2 activations one-by-one (for example when getting a new computer)?

Simon did mention in one post above that they have nothing against refunds, though.

Hey sbangs, think i checked out every demo i could find. The show and tell video gave me a impression of what it can do but it would be great to hear a run through of individual bass and lead patches and the filter response and envelopes. Just cause it's nfr really and the praise it is getting.sbangs_air wrote:Hey musikmachine as stated higher up in the thread we plan to offer demo versions when possible we just dont have a date for this yet our brand new instrument the riser which you will soon see as a site takeover does offer this demo facility I hope you will try it out.musikmachine wrote:Yeah i only buy synths i can demo or can sell on, prefererably both!
I'm leaning towards Loom anyway, stands out more from the demos but that's all i have to go on and nfr makes it less of an impulse purchase, i need to know what cpu hit and stability is like in my host.
Can anyone post demos of the synths filters and envelopes in action?
I may upgrade to the bundle but if i buy one synth from air this day it's Loom just based on the demos i've found online.
Audio demos are available on our product page and I suggest checking out the free groove 3 demos or the video content on the pages from Protools Expert.
If you find for any reason it doesnt work as intended we are happy to refund also.
I just read of a sync issue with Loom in maschine on the air forum so could i get a refund on that basis or is it for any reason?
Cheers.

My current arsenal is diva, Omnisphere, and fm8. I've been thinking about picking up Bazille for $89. But now I'm debating getting loom and vacuum instead. I only have $100 to spend what do you think?

I would say get Bazille while it's still with the introductory price. It IS a lot more flexible than Vacuum Pro...

Since I don't get a reply by AIR can anybody here answer this?Dr.Gunjah wrote:Another question comes to my mind, on the homepage it says "The software will allow 2 activations". And I'm also still curious if anyone got a refund for "not liking" the plugin after purchase.

I was gonna mention the 3 for $100 but yeah that's pretty good. Hybrid sounds great from demos, probably more impressed by that than Vacuum but i can't just keep buying plugins lol, trying to save money!Fleer wrote:However, you may want to start with Vacuum Pro ($49) and upgrade to the six other AIR instruments later on ...

Hmmm, guess they don't work weekends! I found some good demos of Vacuum, not pro but lots individual sounds that i guess show the character assuming Pro wasn't changed: https://soundcloud.com/dvinesounds
May help anyone on the fence. Certainly opened my ears a bit.

Still no reply from the company via forum or email... That's pretty lame.
Seems like I don't have to worry that much about missing this sale

Apologies our office is closed due to the Labor day weekend as you can see further up in the thread we are very responsive otherwise. In the event you have a technical problem or the software didnt work as you expected we are happy to arrange a refund.
That being said we do hope for honesty in this policy if someone has made a number of projects for example and profited from the software we hope they would choose to keep the instruments.
We allow a two computer at a time install but you may move this at anytime. Discounts exist for purchasing mutli licensees if you are an educational establishment or large studio.
Purchasing a single instrument and upgrading to the full AIEP also grants you more serials/unlocks for that instrument.
Hope that clears it up for you.
