anyone use only cakewalk instruments and synths to make music? If so, how did it work from you? Do you have any songs or samples online?

Interesting songs guys. I just wonder if anyone has used cakewalk synths professionally.

Nineofkings, that song sounded fantastic! I'm impressed. I wonder if a good mix can make almost any synth/vsti sound good.

Mumpcake, did you use psyn and groovesynth?

I only use Cakewalk stuff and have been doing this for about a year.
Session Drummer 3 for drums (in with Sonar X3 studio), Dim Pro ($15), Rapture (free), Z3tA+2 ($40).
Well I also use Addictive Keys Grand Piano Demo as my go to piano sound to be fair...

Mind you - I'm nowhere near as good as Nine of Kings...

Very nice! What synth does the underlying pad come from?

I made some loops ( years and years ago ) using mainly H.G. Fortune synths. would create my own sounds,
then layer patches in FL Studio, then used Awave Studio and Extreme Sample Converter to make
seamless wav files, then load them into Rapture and layer more of the loops from there.

I have also used STS26, took some of the wav loops I made, and created SF2 banks, and have loaded
those into STS26, and made more loops for Rapture...,to be honest, I can't remember which synth I
used to make the wav file for the pad you inquired about.

VST fx that run in Sonar and other DAW's
Channel Tools ?

You are correct, a note should be added that it works in FL Studio.

Yes, I came out with that before I knew of the exploit to use other instruments in Kinetic 1. I think I had one percussion loop in there. The drums were GrooveSynth, as well as the bells. The organ was PSYN, as well as the leads, the pad in the breakdown, and probably the bass.
