Xoxos ones are free and very unique. I'm not paying for something emulated from 1955.

Thread about Ultrareverb here:
http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=5876062
It sounds very good, quite close to the original Eventide hardware algorithms it's meant to emulate. Is unique enough compared to other reverb plugins to make it worthwhile IMO, particularly for modulated / alien reverb sounds (rather than natural room spaces).
Peace,
Andy.

UR is a native version of the Eventide Reverb HD/TDM plug-in from the Anthology II bundle.
It has some added features: mutes, etc. and is supposed to be session compatible with ER.
Did a little history hunting: I think the Eventide Clockworks Legacy TDM Bundle was released in '03.
ER and three others were developed and added to that bundle later, the name was changed to Anthology, and in '06 more plug-ins including Ultra Channel were added becoming Anthology II.
Reverb is sometimes credited as being "lifted" from Orville.
That's why I'd take issue "emulate."
Rather than quote a bunch of stuff here, info from one of the designers, Dan Gillespie, is on GS... and, of course, from the google.
Anyway, it's pretty cool... though I have to admit this is more of a collector's item for me, and it brought our Eventide native collection to current and complete.
I was never too enthused with the reverb in my H3000... but 4000, Orville, 8000, etc. brought better and a lot more variety.
This is some of that variety, but hardly a "best of," given the original TDM limitations.
