I'm not sure if it's appropriate to post this here, but I thought people might like to have a read of this article I recently wrote for the film and game sound design site, Designing Sound. It shamelessly plugs u-he synths, because... well, I'm a shameless u-he fanboy. The article concerns the synthesis of sound effects for games, and goes over a simple car skid sound made in our beloved ACE.

Nice one! That's really well written and clearly explained. As a result, it's more interesting and useful than 99.999% of the internet

Thanks for the shameless plug!
Almost off-topic: I'd like to know what the FONT (!) is in that article. It's much more readable than whatever I've been using for documentation. How can I find out?

A quick dig in with Firefox's tools suggests it might be Open Sans, one of the free Google fonts....Howard wrote:Thanks for the shameless plug!
