I am interested in ample sound's electric guitars, especially AGP and AGG. But can I request for a showcase of it like how it was done for AGM and AGT?

Especially the strumming of the guitars. The samples on SoundCloud are awesome, but do these samples come with distortion, or are external distortion plug-ins being used?

How does AGP and AGG sound like when strumming? As it wasn't really clearly indicated when I'm listening to the showcase on SoundCloud.

Nevertheless, the products seem really promising, but I would like to request for a clearer video like what was done for the acoustic guitars! :D

Thank you!

Hi, you can listen to this demo song about strumming of AGP http://soundcloud.com/ample-sound/agp-one-day . We use 3rd party plugins for distortion effects.

What 3rd party distortion effects did you use?

Thanks!

Hi,

I've downloaded the project and the only thing I can bring up in my DAW (FL Studio) are the midi files. Which don't sound anywhere near the demo because I don't know which settings were used, nor the effects. For example, I see in the midi that the sustain key (C0) was triggered several times, yet none of the notes were sustained.

I was looking forward to digging deep into the project files to figure out how to use this amazing instrument, but it has turned out to be a huge disappointment.

Has anyone on here managed to teach themselves how to use this VSTi that can help me, a complete beginner, lessen the steep learning curve? I'm almost to the point of dumping this and picking up a "real" guitar. The amazing sound this instrument can produce are useless if you can't figure out how to use it...imho.

Thanks,
Joey

There are some really good tutorial videos on the Ample Sound website. If you're prepared to invest the time to watch and learn, you should be able to get good results with almost any DAW. I haven't done much with the electrics yet, but the setup on the acoustics is pretty much the same, so the information in the videos should help for either one.
