Hello, I've recorded some things with keyboard playing and the pitch/mod knobs going. FL Studio puts it all into the piano roll, all together. I'd like to transfer the automated knobs over to a separate clip in the timeline. Thanks.

What you mean by "puts it all into the piano roll, all together", can you show us a screenshot?

Little triangle in the upper left corner of the piano roll or event editor
