What is this cool sounding instrument at 1:54? Is it an accordion?

As far as I can hear it's a synthesized accordion. There is no accordion mentioned on the picture in the youtube video and the vibrato is 100% fake. It sounds like a rompler of somekind. My Kawai K4r has similar sounds.

It has pitchbend,
I wasn't sure if a real accordion can do that

) It is a french accordion. You can find a near good sound on roland keyboards or on Ketron Audya4-5.You have also to work a little bit with the harmonics.GoodLuck.

it sounded like 4 little frenchmen playing kazoos in unison to me
HW SYNTHS [KORG T2EX - AKAI AX80 - YAMAHA SY77 - ENSONIQ VFX]
HW MODULES [OBi M1000 - ROLAND MKS-50 - ROLAND JV880 - KURZ 1000PX]
SW [CHARLATAN - OBXD - OXE - ELEKTRO - MICROTERA - M1 - SURGE - RMiV]
DAW [ENERGY XT2/1U RACK WINXP / MAUDIO 1010LT PCI]

I have a Juno-60. Do you think I could achieve that sound with it?

Post

`juno is most a synthesizer not a sampler.I can recommend to you if you have any Kontakt Player to use the Accordion sounds plug in,in any sequencer you use on the computer. Is more likely at the sound of the french accordion then the Juno. But it's up to you.I have a Roland Discover5&Ketron Audya 4M with real sounds so i don't know what advice i should give it to you.But try with Kontakt and you will be satisfied.

This is an emulated accordion sound from a Yamaha DX7, not from a rompler.

it was indeed a dx7.
It's not what you use, it's how you use it...
