Maybe something like... stringing together low-pass and high-pass filtering, some compression and then applying EQ?

To me, it sounds like run is trying to create a container for the actual sound so that he may pass it out of the container, process the transients and then run a line back into the container. I know I'm probably way off the mark but, there is not enough info. Run tell us what you want without telling us the effect that you are trying to create.

Otherwise all you would need to do is put an osc on the main modular window. Might be better to put it into a poly-synth, that way it is easier to manipulate.
