Hi,
Looking for dry (recorded without any amp/fx) guitar (acustic and e-guitar) samples.

Purpose: testing of software based amps/sims/FX.

Thanks
Chris

I know these are totally dry because I recorded them - recorded straight into the interface, no processing whatsoever except for noise reduction, no effects or EQ or anything in the mapping. Use the "basic" for testing, or "clean" if you don't want note release noises.

IK Amplitube audio demos... http://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/am ... be-3-audio

You can click on each unprocessed track and download from soundclick... MP3 only, but for an unprocessed elec guitar that shouldn't be far from a pure WAV...

Also includes some bass tracks.
You need to limit that rez, bro.

If it's libraries you're looking into, Impact Soundworks Shreddage 2 and Orange Tree Samples Evolution Electric Guitar Strawberry are your best bets.

Both recorded clean, but might be a bit pricey if you're just testing amp sims.

Now if someone would just turn them into Kontakt instruments!

Great tip. Very suitable for testing.

Just played around with the LePou stuff (amps, IR-cabs). :D
