I did a -revisit- to the track originally posted for KVR One-Synth-Challenge (OSC60 Anyone synth).
https://soundcloud.com/feet-on-earth/note_c
New in revisited version:
- electric guitar parts added,
- drum samples replaced drums from the synth,
- bass solo played on Tetra analog synth,
- sampled background noise replaced noise from the synth,
- chorus option in reverb is on to thicken it.

The newer version sounds more "rounded" and complete, especially after adding the guitar. No surprise really. I sat on a bunch of tracks for 2-3 years before reworking them. I think leaving things alone for a while helps you to gain a fresh, less clouded perspective.
Good work

I also have the same exprience when it comes to my music.
When it is fresh I can't really enjoy it because I'm focusing
on all sorts of little details.
Sometimes I forget to enjoy the forest because all of the trees
Your track is very good musicwise but I have to say I also
heard some harsh/conflicting frequencies.
It wasn't bad at all - just my personal taste.
The adding of guitar is great and the composition also
appeals to me.
Cheers

Focusing on detailes makes that I not always can capture the overall mood which reveals just when listening to whole piece from a 'distance'.
Yeah, when layering some chords with other instrument lines I heards some discords. But after all I liked that result, so decided to keep them without changing anything.
Thanks!
