Aside from the lack of features a paid account gives, they're pretty straight forward.hibidy wrote:Is there anything anyone should know before hand about free emails being set up? It's been like a decade since I've started one.
I generally see a lot of spam but it mostly still gets filtered so the free accounts I have are decent.
The only one I ever paid for was a Mac account but even it's free now. And I only bought it because an online purchase I once did many years ago would not accept a free email account when I registered at the company.
I wouldn't have even did that but the purchase was necessary.
I'd probably recommend a Gmail account. I'm sure you are aware of the Google data collection policies and usage though.
Good luck hibidy
