Anyone have any experience using screen readers and other adaptive tech with VST's? I would be very interested to hear about which companies support accessibility

I don't know of any, but there might be some.
I work with some blind and site impaired individuals, a couple of them make music. Do you know of any accessible DAW software that might work for them?

I 'know' someone (on a forum) who uses Audacity. Reaper used to have someone making an accessible version http://www.reaaccess.com/ but apparently that has stalled. There is some fairly strong legislation in the USA that has been tested in the courts on websites to enforce accessibility and might need to be tested against software generally perhaps.
But given how huge the disability market is (1.2 trillion disposable income globally, 550 billion in the USA) I imagine most larger companies would be okay. Cubase have this to say about their mixer "Optimized for mouse-free operation: virtually all channel elements are accessible by blind reader software & through the computer keyboard"
