Has anyone tried this editor? It works as a standalone editor.

I have it and it is good, it works nice on Mac OS, but still has some bugs and now the Akatuystudio website is down, don´t know why but i was really hoping for some updates by the developer which now seems it is not going to happen.
Does somebody know anything from the developer?

Still, this is great for programming this otherwise very laborious synth. :x

Hello, I'm akatuystudio.
Thank you for trying my program.
I am grateful that some people say "this is good".
It will take a long time that I bring this program to completion.
but I don't stop updating this editor.

Please try again if I update it.

My website "akatuystudio.com" was restored.

best regards.

Doesn't seem to work, I'm afraid. Do you have another link?

Post

The link is working here.

I am glad that development is still going since this is a great application to work with this synth.
Just writing the name of the patch on the synth´s menu really makes me :x !
With this application it is going to be a breeze to edit the synth!
Keep up the good work and thank you for making it for free. :tu:

I'd buy it straight away if this gets ported to iOS...I've got an XP-50 which I intend to restore...

 not PC?

The site is up and I see a PC download. Anyone getting it to work? I've had bad luck in the past with getting something to do this well.

Would love this if it was ported to iOS and worked to edit JV1010!

gotta try this.
can i suggest -again?- doing one for the D-110/D-20? and D-550?
there are loads of D-110s out there, and free editors already, but
could do with a freshen up, and they need MIDI in/out connected.
(does this editor need that? data feedback/patch fetch from the
unit?)

Hello akatuystudio

First of all Thank you for the amazing editor :)

i have little problem i Describe it for you : in "perform mod" in the PART tab i'm building patch with 16 tracks, and when i "save parameter All as Text" and load back everything is saved but the 16 tracks are not !

What do i do wrong ? maybe i'm not saving the proper way ?
Looking forward to your answer or from any other user that know how to save correctly.

Thanks

Interesting. I didn't know about this editor! My JV-1080 has been sitting here neglected for about ten years now. Maybe I'll check this out and fire up the old beast.

@akatuystudio: I cannot tell you how happy I am to have found this editor & it runs on Leopard too! Beautiful & well laid out interface as well. Thanks Yutaka! :)

Is there a way for the editor to receive patches from the JV? I've tried bulk dumps from the JV & I can see the incoming sysex data in the editor, but nothing happens. If I start from scratch with the editor, saving & loading patches works. I could export the incoming sysex data to the Max window, but what's next? And what about the sysex dumps I've saved with SysEx Librarian, can I import them somehow? I'm new to sysex & its editors.

Hello JV-friends.

Thank you for trying my JV-1080 editor!!
I’m very happy to hear your voices for advancing!!

I’m planning to big rebuild my editor that has some problem.

I have many ideas for fixing jv-editor but now I don’t have enough time for one because I have had a daughter.

Please give me excuse it takes a couple of months or more…

I’m planning
1, match the param by the export & import .
2, capture(receive) from perform or patch(current 1 perform or patch, bulk dump may or may not realistic that is too big data for this editor)
3, I lighten editor’s file size(for boot up quickly).

Thanks
for your good music!

I would gladly pay for a Windows editor that works with the JV-2080.

As soon as possible I'll test the program with mine.
