Just wanted to get some general critiques on a new track I've done. I usually post as gaze13, but I closed that email address a long time ago.

I started using some new techniques on this one that I'm not entirely sure about; grouping tracks and sidechaining in Live without being too obvious about the processing...I feel like I'm finally getting my workflow nailed down, but I need some fresh ears on it.

Sounds great and fresh.
IMHO, the lead that comes in at 0:32 is a bit buzzy on high notes.
Could you turn down the LPF on it or notch the EQ at the buzzing frequency?

Thanks for that. I'll take a few days and come back to it. I spent so much time on the bass and chords I didn't think about smoothing out the leads.

original idea! it al sounds very fresh to me. Sometimes a bit too much going on at the same time but that might be taste.

great composition with lots of variety that all flows good together. the mix could be a little less limited. especially on the busy parts. enjoyed it to the end. good one :tu:
