Nomad Factory Version 5 with AAX Native compatibility just released!

thanks for the hook up on this one.

Nomad Factory has just announced the update to version 5 of all its plug-ins!

So this is what has been cooking.

- COSMOS has been added to ISP3 bundle (re-authorization required using your ISP3 serial number).

Hm... kind of expected Magma and Cosmos in there, was even ready to spend another 20-50 bucks, as this was usually the case for an upgrade. But if this is a free upgrade, and the second in row if I may add, then it's a nice deal.

Does re-authorization work directly from the NF page as well?
If not, I have to bite my way through the Don'tCrack page. Didn't log in for quite a while to be honest.

- General bug fixes to improve performance on all platforms

Does that included the British NEQ bug in Cubase (if Mono channels are named file.R.wav)?
Is there maybe a changelog?

The Integral Studio Pack III now includes all these fine plug-ins and the COSMOS Harmonic Exciter and Sub Generator in the AAX Native 32 and 64 bit format to bring you one of the most complete toolsets available for mixing and Mastering on the market today.

Hopefully there may be more console type stuff in the future. New EQs and the likes. The rest of the NF bundle is getting a bit... dated. The main tools I use out of the ISP are the Motown, British and Altec EQ's. Barely anything else (though occasionally Magnetic and Echo - depending on the job).



Anyway... good to see a life sign of NF. Let's hope that Bernie recovers and we'll see NF on the market for many years to come.

instant crash, and the only way to load is to delete the AAX folder

We are not having a problem loading an old session into Protools 10 here, works fine.

After uninstalling old version of Integral Studio Pack III and installing the new one, COSMOS still loading in Demo mode, tried to run the authorization again and I get a message saying that my PC was already authorized. Anyone knows what is the solution for this issue?

Yup, delete or move the auth file from your OS 'Documents' folder.
Worked for me.
Got so many different plugs its easy to forget how theyre all authorised !

Just to add my two cents on authorizing Nomad plugs: I recently built a whole new system and had to reinstall everything and on top of that my email address changed months ago. I contacted Nomad and they were brilliant. Fast response, transferring plugs from my old email to the new. Had everything up and running in less than 12 hours (I contacted them on a Sunday, I believe). I'm downloading the new versions with confidence.

There is an issue with the AU installer.

Cosmos has V4 not V5

Please fix ASAP.
