Hi - when I open a vst plugin in BC Patchwork, I can play the instrument using the computer's mouse on the screen, but not using my MIDI keyboard. I know in standalone I just change the audio/midi preference, but within my DAW I don't see how to do this on the BC Patchwork interface. How do I play using my MIDI keyboard? Basic I know, but I don't see where the prefs are! Thanks, bb

The easy way to do this in Pro Tools 11 (you seem to be using this DAW per your email to support) is to create an instrument track and insert the PatchWork plug-in as an Instrument. It should then "just work" if your MIDI interfaces are selected in the Pro Tools Preferences.

Yo ucan otherwise create an audio track to host the plug-in and a separate MIDI track that routes MIDI from the MIDI interface to the plug-in. You will also need to arm the MIDI track for recording if you want to play "live".

Hope this helps!

Thanks a lot, that worked!
