After Boz released "Imperial Delay" which became more known
as a controversial issue on settings of price tags than being a tool for music production,
another tool is going to be released on Friday, November 28.
Boz teamed up with producer/mixer David Bendeth to bring something new on the table:
"+10db is a channel strip plugin meticulously modelled after one of the industries most iconic hardware compressors.
Unless you refuse to listen to any music after Beethoven, you most certainly have heard this unit in action.
Best yet, this is the first time this hardware unit has been available in plugin format."
The 3 in 1 +10db bundle comes with three separate plugins:
+10db Compressor, +10db Equaliser and +10db Channel Strip.
Price: N/A

let`s be fair with Boz, he did a mistake (to my opinion)
but it is a thing of the past and this release is of now, ok ?

I checked Boz site again and estimated price is not confirmed yet, so let`s see tomorrow.
Frankly I have never been in contact with a compex, I even didn`t know it exists.
Can anyone give some hints on this unit ?

Keep in mind that it's three plugins -not just one. A hardware emulation of a vintage EQ prized at 99$ is not uncommon, and the same goes for a hardware emulation of a vintage compressor - you then get the channel strip for free on top of that as a bonus for purchasing a bundle. While it's still a bit pricey for my personal taste, I don't find this unusual - quite unlike a 299$ delay.cfanyc wrote:So price suggests that it is on par with some of the bestOmkar wrote:Quick view at GS, found this:

"Preamps have literally one job: when you turn up the gain, it gets louder." Jamcat, talking about presmp-emulation plugins.
