Thanks Attila. If you guys want to play around with this project and see how it's done, or collaborate and make revisions to it. I published the full Ableton project here (link to Blend.io).musicdevelopments wrote:Elenesski posted this song created with RapidComposer and Ableton Live 9 in another topic. Details about the workflow can be found here.

Hello,
I'm new user of RapidComposer.
This software is a great composing assistant for those who love to write with tools like a midi sequencer, a Piano Roll or a keyboard.
Please, find below my first little music composed only with the Phrase Editor and some variations.
I used RapidComposer VST plugin under SONAR X3.
All sounds are produced with Nexus 2 and Addictive Drums.

I am a user of Sonar X3, too. Unfortunately, I still have yet to compose anything of substance with RapidComposer. Listening to your nice compositions is inspiring.

I've never learned music.
However if your ear works and if your are able to understand the relation between tonality, harmony (Chords), melody (notes) and phrasing (performance) then you should be able to write easily your composition ideas with RapidComposer.

Hello,
I quickly redesigned with RapidComposer my music "From The Earth" in a very different musical genre of the original.
https://soundcloud.com/ghislain2b/from-the-earth
RapidComposer is great software to manipulate the accompaniment based on chords but for the melody line I find it less convenient.
So i use it in Vst mode for harmony and I record the melody line with my sequencer SONAR X3.

Beautiful, and very professional, Ghislain!
I think I have an idea for the melody generator, to make it more interactive. It will allow regenerating parts of the melody. We can talk about it later.
Thanks,
Attila

RapidComposer is a great midi tool for harmonizing a melody and writing quickly an accompaniment.
It boosts creation unlike the others arrangement softwares.
This is ideal for composers !
