Beerhunter wrote:Hey guys,

i am happy :hihi: to announce that the latest project i was working on, is now finished. :)
I guess all in all i did spend 4 or 6 month on it, rearranging, improving, messing around with latency problems etc., notice, i did not work full-time on it. ;) I thought it would be nice to share it with you, so beside the package stuff there is sth. more :D.

Yeah, it's gonna be impossible to get closed source software into those repos. Maybe rpmfusion. And, then again, there are personal repos for users in https://copr.fedoraproject.org/

Also, the http://rpmfusion.org/FedoraThirdPartyRepos site is a list of compatible repos.

Post

@ Renich, thanks dude. :) I´ll try to get the RPM´s of Bitwig in there.

i´m srry i missed the RC of 1.1.3, so here we go, check out the link below for 1.1.3Rc1 of Bitwig. :)

@Renich

maybe i´m wrong but Bitwig is proprietary Software, so Fedora will not allow it......or are the user repos not affected by the rules they mentioned on the page ?

Post

rpmfusion, as far as I know, is a "gray zone" repo. Then, the russian repo is totally out of the rules. There are a ton of 3rd party repos that allow this as well.

But, rpmfusion, being the most "official" distributes steam, which is not, to my knowledge, free software. I'd try rpmfusion first.

Post

@ Renich,

well i tried the RPM-Fusion page, but i didn´t quiet get how to upload the package, maybe i was just dumb....?! :/

Enjoy your holidays, X-mas and New Years Eve (NYE, which sounds to me like the german Nie, which would be the meaning of never in english ;) just joking)

Merry Christmas, RPM-ers 8) Thanks to your efforts, one of these new releases
is working in my favorite pclinuxos, with a light and lovely E19 desktop. The new
U-he linux ports also worked. Talk about clams at high tide! :hihi:

Now I just have to get it going in Puppy Studio 1337,
and figure out where the piggybank is hiding. When it saw Bitwig come up in E,
it ran off, squealing " :x "
