I enjoyed this. It could be a modern day Syd Barrett track.
There are some vocal pitching issues. Perhaps the arrangement could benefit from more variation.

My first thought was "Where's all the backing?" but actually, this works very well as it is, suggesting a smallish band playing in some local venue.
It wasn't me! (well, actually, it probably was) - apparently now an 'elderly' so maybe I forgot!

Yeah, no guitar-wall or organ-sound: The 8ths bass carries this song - a more minimalistic arrangement than generally expected.
