Does it have a name? It seems to occur a lot in Astrix tracks. I'd like to learn how to do it and variants of it for my own psytrance stuff.

I know pitch bend is in there, but that's about it.

Not sure if it gets you 100% there but I'd look for 'squelch' tutorials. That's what I refer to for these kind of sounds (though not sure if it totally fits in this case, as I'm no Psy expert).

Hey Brekehan

This type of of lead is crafted via the simultaneous modulation of both the pitch and filter of your synth of choice

Heres a quick video I made using the Rompler Nexus

You may like to try experimenting with different LFO speeds and envelope shapes for different variations, the sound you posted sound like it has quite a quick LFO time so you may want to being there
