Hello, Even thought this is my first topic, I've been on the forums for a while.
Introductions aside...
How would you make and mix cheesy elevator music...?
I keep hearing you need a Hammond B3 Organ and/or GM Midi,
Also, how would you mix it so it sounds like it is coming from cheep elevator speakers?
Thanks in advance.

Yeah, find a small, cheap-sounding GM soundfont (such as https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic ... y1G-s5nRQI). Then with a plugin like MDA combo set to "radio" mode, it can sound like it's coming from a cheap speaker.
"musician."

Hey Glitch Doctor
I just threw together a video for you demonstrating one way of creating the illusion of music coming from a background source aka elevator or radio
If you have any questions, let me know

Great first-post topic, Glitch Doctor!
Legato trombone and/or overwrought soprano saxophone melodies are a mainstay in the most memorably forgettable elevator music I've heard.
