Hi, I have a particular question to ask,
Currently, for fun, I installed BeOS on an old laptop. To render midi files, this OS relies on *.hsb files instead of .*sf2 files. Is possible, however, play midi files with a soundfont using 3rd party applications, but in some circumstances (eg using the default Midi Player) is not possible hear midi files with a soundfont.
The fact is that these hsb files provide a poor quality.
I honestly admit that I don't know the specifications of these .*hsb files; I have done a search on Google and it seems that these .*hsb files seem related to Steinberg, Am I wrong? There is some software (obviously I also have a Windows computer) to convert sf2 files to hsb?
I hope that there is some expert BeOS user
Many thanks.

To be more accurate: I've found that these .*hsb files (also called "Headspace Sound Banks") are related to Beatnik Audio Engine.
So I should simply find better patches, to replace the existing on my system, but I can't find anything to download/try.
