Welcome to REFORGED: Cinematic Metallic Sound Design, our newest sample library for KONTAKT and third entry into our sound design series. A spiritual successor to our very first release - Impact: Steel - ReForged is built on a huge collection of deeply-sampled found objects crafted from various metals. This extensive pool of sounds was then used to create a treasure trove of designed material, from cinematic impacts, to textures and atmospheres, synths, and rhythmic loops - all presented in a slick and powerful user interface for easy tweaking and customization.

The Natural category is split into six patches:
* Bath
* Garden
* House
* Impacts
* Shop
* Tortured Metals
Each of these contains a number of samples and instruments, for example the House category contains a deep-sampled metal cooker, cowl, radiator, and vent. Each of these found instruments is then divided into further multi-sampled articulations and techniques: the cowl was played on both the rim and top with mallet and brush, the vent was thumped, slammed, and struck all over, etc.
The Designed category is broadly divided into:
* Impacts: Distorted, Heavy, HTSB, Morphed, Tension Hits
* Noises
* Rhythms: Epic Metals, Glitched, Hybrid Beds 1 & 2, Loop Material, Morphed
* Synths: Multisampled & atmospheres
* Textures: Atmospheric, dark, FX
* Tonals & Transitions
These patches and sub-patches also contain a wide variety of sounds, organized into menus. The "Designed - Impacts - Distorted" patch for example has 42 hand-crafted, aggressive & edgy impacts spread out over the keyboard.
We're also pleased to present the entire library of almost 2,000 sounds in WAV for direct editing in your DAW! This is particularly nice for the rhythm loops, which have been properly sliced and trimmed along with REX2 versions.
Script & Interface
The ReForged UI allows you to completely reshape any given sound with a minimum of effort. A full FX rack, ADSR, filter w/ envelope, and sequencer (with gate + retrigger modes) offer incredible control and deep customization. We've also created dozens of FX PRESETS which can be loaded with a single click. These presets, such as "Impact Enhancer", "Tension Pattern", "Punchy and Distorted", "Apocalypse" (etc) can be loaded into ANY patch, giving you tons of potential variations even if you do NO tweaking at all.
