I was expecting them from Xils since that's the vocoder they modeled it on.Kriminal wrote:electro wrote:Where are the Xils Vocoder 5000 A/B Demos with the EMS?

I like the Xils vocoder.
But I also like the Tubeohm vocoder:

But together are the only vocoders I need.

Hi electro,
it works perfect with jbridge. And so is 32 bit is no reason to use it not for me.
If I were you I would try it first and then decide whether you want to use it.
And it is very cheap.
By the way here is a short video about it:

Same here. There are enough good 64 bit alternatives.electro wrote:No, in 2014 I will not buy or even try any x86 plug.
The Shruthi 1.+ firmware has been out for ages, and Tubeohm still hasn't updated the editor. So I won't buy anything more from him/them.

Probably not easy to find one EMS 5000.electro wrote:Where are the Xils Vocoder 5000 A/B Demos with the EMS?
Seems its worth 25 000€ minimum atm. IF you can find one.

The VP330 vocoder examples sound indistinguishable from the V+, but that vocoder is very limited. What reference source was used to model the XILS 5000?Lotuzia wrote:Probably not easy to find one EMS 5000.electro wrote:Where are the Xils Vocoder 5000 A/B Demos with the EMS?

It sounds really bad. It costs a lot, too.

A lot of people have said the exact opposite though, in ancient threads, and other forums. Then to each its own.
To Electro : Schematics, some signal analysis files and other things. Oscs were the same than the VCS3, so these were derived from those of the Xils 4.
v1.0 has been released btw. There's also a cross-grade offer for those who have the Orange Vocoder, and the ELS Vocoder.

Very vague, as usual. Pictures that make no sound, and unreliable 3rd party recordings.... but as virtually nobody has one, who's going to know if it sounds exactly like the original, or nothing like it?Lotuzia wrote:

Brilliant marketing, again
