Yes it is possible. Different ways:
1) Just put it on a mono channel, both channels will be mixed
2) Convert it with a audio editor
3) Some sampler allow you to play/send it out mono-ized
4) Put it on a stereo track and use a plugin like BOZ Panipulator (free) to choose if you want to use only the left or the right channel. Or use a stock DAW-plugin (like Gain in Logic) to make the sample mono
To be more precise we need more information:
-) How do you intend to use it? On a track, in a sampler, etc.?
-) Do you want to keep just one channel, or do you want to sum it?
-) Do you just want to convert it?

You should be able to split it into two mono in any daw or audio editor.
Just use one side.
Usually there is not much directional information on low frequencies below 250 Hz or so, that's where sub center speakers are covering your spectra anyway.
Ears don't perceive direction in lower spectra.

BTW: Before you make it mono, make sure if the sound itself is mono or has stereo content. That might influence further decisions

Or if you'd like to keep the top stereo information, just locut the sides with a MS-equalizer and your lowend stays mono.

Or use a plugin that can make sounds mono, like Logic's "Gain" (utility plugin)

Haven't listened. And won't listen to it until it's up on SC, after I saw what kind of page that is. Sorry mate, I'm a bit paranoid with such pages.

if it sounds good then it's good, but this days big producer (or ghostproducers) make this kind of bass more stereo. i'm refering to beatport chart all the top 20-25 of this genre have got some stereo info also in the lower frequency, as alredy suggested you can use a m/s eq just to get ride of the information on the side that you don't like while having the information that you like. just my 2 cent.
ps: very cool sample where did you get it?
