Very nice Carl. Thanks for displaying that so nicely.
I have found The Ragnarok to be very drum/percussion friendly. With a slow LFO setting and just a touch of pitch amount and modulation you can create some good movement. No its not 16 velocity layers with 4 round robins but it is VERY useful and in some cases more expressive.

Guten Abend Jungs und Mädels,
RuediRena couldn't resist this little groove machine Ragnarök. So here is a first idea hopefully to be finished and described in all its gory details between the years.
Merry christmas to you all.

Hi all,
Here is my track with Ragnarök. Honestly, first I missed the saw-wave in the osc a lot. I think it is the waveform I use most of the time. But then it became a challange to make sounds, where the listener will not recognize that there is no saw inside and it became fun. The special architecture of Ragnarök makes it predestined for organ sounds. So I had to do something with a big sacral sound!

Dynamik Range according TT Dynamic Range Meter: DR=9 (ouch - almost too less!)

Whew it's been an interesting week. Hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas and are vamping up for an even better new year!
I found out this morning that the Presswerk beta expires today, so not only did I have to finish up but I wanted to make my project file public while the beta was still active.

As you all now, Ragna is the goddess of cognitive ability, neverending waiting loops and the secrets of multiaural subharmonics. So let us röck to her to get wisdom, satisfaction and ... ahm ... voting points
But seriously:
First I changed this senseless picture of our kitchen clock...
Next I removed this cool - but illegal - modulation effects ... Thanks to everyone, who made me aware of it
Then I tried to optimize the sounds. Especially with the bass drum I'm still not happy. (When I found an adjustmend which sounded good in solo mode, it didn't work in the mix). But I had fun to check out the possibilities of the Ragnarök. Many thanks to CrimsonWarlock and Full Bucket for showing that you don't need thousands of knobs, switches and faders to create awesome sounds.
And thanks a lot to bjporter leading a newbie through the whole challenge procedure so patiently!
