Sampleconstruct wrote:16 Molekular videos in this playlist. There are several very capable delay modules inside Molekular plus all the other stuff, the modulation system is vast, it's a huge machine. I don't know Sigmund, so I can't comment on that one.
I'm n the opposite situation (owning Sigmund but not Molekular) Sigmund is a very refreshing and quite versatile multi-delay lines unit, but judging by both demos songs/videos and specs, it is likely more intuitive but way behind Molekular's versatility and complexity

Sigmund has been deliberately limited, for instance, to some pre-defined basic delay-networks, this to avoid getting lost in an excess of complexity

Both are very cool and useful.

I consider them for different uses.
Sigmund is a great complex multi-delay with modulation, distortion and other features.

Molekular is geared more to sound twisting although it can do simple delays, mods, verbs etc.

They sound very different in the final application.
Therefore, they both have something to bring to the table that is exceptional.

And with both....whoa!

You're in an amazing state - so stay there.

I have Sigmund but honestly, I use the new NI delay more often.Though Sigmund is great for changing the timbre of a sound in interesting ways, which is not something you might expect from a delay.

Each DAW has a different sound.

Zebrify is quite good. I use Molekular sparingly, but for ambient/dark ambient/soundscape there's damn little that can beat it!

Molekular was used on this track:
