some first impressions after trying the 1.0 win32 demo...

*sounds very good.

*uses 10% cpu at idle on my 3ghz core2 HP Elitebook in savihost

*some knobs are rediculously tiny....like the ones in the arp for example.

GUI layout could have been better optimized by using smaller logo and verbage on the top
and getting rid of the virtual keyboard on the bottom.

Yes, you are right. We spent a lot of time optimizing version 1.0 for full load. So you should easily be able to have 16 voice polyphony on even more complex patches including oversampling and modulation matrix (my favorite test patch here is "SuperSaw Noise Panned"). We achieved this by vectorizing stuff like the oversampling decimator directly in ASM.

But there has not been such a big focus on idle state optimization. We will definitely tackle this in version 1.10.

- GUI optimisation would be good because personally they are many other synthesizer on the market who looks better but if you tweak a bit on the GUI, I think it will looking better in my eyes

OK, got the email with key file, put it in the same folder with the vaporizer plugin, started up savihost and still comes up
as "DEMO - unlicensed version" does the plugin look for the key only in the steinberg folder on the C drive?
i'm running windows XP service pack3. does the key only work under windows 7 or 8? scratching my head here boys.
