Oh I see, you're crusherized, congrats. accSone has his own forum here too, so post your questions there.secretkillerofnames wrote:Thanks for the notice - i'll check it out (I have Melda Granular as well).
I'm not sure Vojtech would appreciate me filling his forum with questions about CrusherX though?
Looking for a powerful granular effect plugin

OK, I ended up buying it. Does somebody know a good ressource for patches? The exchange patches feature does not provide any new patches. :-/
I can't lie to you about your chances, but... you have my sympathies.

Granular improvisation with crusherX 5.5 using an e-bowed electric guitar phrase as the audio source - the video is rather long and gets more interesting from 3+ minutes.

The first reply to the OP mentioned a free real-time granular plugin, Artgotlunar. It is quite musical and worth also looking at IMHO.....

For all the folks not so familiar with granular synthesis, here is first basic tutorial for Padshop Pro I just did, creating a patch from scratch:

I was hoping to test Crusherx 64 bit on Win 7 64 bit, but it freezes Cubase 7.5 and 8.05 immediately when I try to put it on an insert. I have to kill cubase in task manager (v8.05) or reboot the computer (7.5). Bummer. I was ready to buy before I downloaded the demo. Glad I tried it first.

Does anybody here have some blank template patches for MMultibandGranular (1 band, 2band, 3 band, etc). It's the only Melda plugin I have that doesn't have blank template patches with various numbers of bands. I hate having to unassign the modulators and multiparameters that are in all the presets before I can start on a patch of my own and I'm not big on using presets.

It looks quite powerful and interesting (not the best GUI though). I'm gonna check it out.thecontrolcentre wrote:Another one worth checking out ...
