In humble opinion these demo's do not sound really convincing, except for the Vaporizer Demo Track - Trance 4, that one sounds nice. Maybe ask for someone who's very good at it to do a few more demo's? :)
No band limits, aliasing is the noise of freedom!

I own a Vaporizer license-key, updatet the approp. DLL file to 1.01. With FL Studio 11 on Win8.1 it's not possible to save any own presets or other settings. Not even in the host/DAW. Am I stupid or how can I save my sound-creations? ? :dog:
Hi there,
I just changed the (really annoying) captcha settings on our website. Please try again.
And regarding your problem: I just tested it here in FL Studio 11 (on Win7 though) and it seems to work fine. Does the plug-in show your license information in the top-right corner?

Hi Nielzie,
I totally agree and I was just waiting for that comment. The tracks are just meant as some preset teasers. I believe we can do a lot better and we are just compiling some "real" demo songs. If the day only had 48 hours *sigh*

Yes, it shows the correct license. What makes me really wonder is: Presets *are* saved in FL Studios own format, but all individual settings are gone the next time I'll load them. :?:

Hello all,

I compiled the first feedback, bugfixes and wishes in a release 1.02 of Vaporizer.
You can get it here:
http://www.vast-dynamics.de/?q=products

Here is the change log:
  • Added VST3 support.
Preset up/down buttons to quickly browse presets (assigned keyboard shortcuts PgUp, PgDown in case your VST host allows that).
Initial idle state optimization to reduce CPU usage when plug-in idle (no notes played).
    Added patch randomizer button.
Allow continous playing while changing presets or creating random patches.
    Increased brightness of green texts.
Now allowing to toggle oversampling while playing.
    Enabled tooltips.
Removed some aliasing that only occurred oversampling off (with uneven buffer sizes).
Attenuated presets to homogeneous volume level.
Fixed bug that presets were not saved with project in FL Studio & Cubase.
Fixed non saving parameters (Delay Feedback).
    Fixed: switching octaves while playing.
Fixed: glitch when adding oscillators while playing.
Have fun. :-)

Fixed in v1.02. Thanks.

We added idle state optimization in v1.02. Would be great if you could retest. Thanks.

Could not resist and added native 64bit versions for AU, VST, VST3 on OS X as well with V1.02. They are included in the OS X zip in the download section. This should also fix an issue with Logic on OS X 10.9.

Hi, I could not reproduce it. Could you please describe a bit more when this happens? Did you try to use the "Retrig" button in the LFO section. This enforces a restart of the LFO oscillator at the beginning of the phase for each note on. If this is disabled sounds like you describe are possible.

That is probably it. Makes sense. I know with S&H you open yourself up to some quirks because the cycle isn't smooth like with a sine wave.

Haven't had a chance to check out 1.2 yet and am going out tonight but will tackle it tomorrow and provide more feedback.

Really want this to be the best synth that it can because I see a lot of potential here. The GUI still needs work but I guess that will come in time.

More tomorrow.

2% at idle is much more acceptable, thanks for this!

also, at least make the microscopic knobs the size of the second to the smallest knob size - that
should take no effort at all, but would increase usability significantly.

the scroll wheel on the mouse should make increments and decrements of 1 for fine parameter value adjustments.
HW SYNTHS [KORG T2EX - AKAI AX80 - YAMAHA SY77 - ENSONIQ VFX]
HW MODULES [OBi M1000 - ROLAND MKS-50 - ROLAND JV880 - KURZ 1000PX]
SW [CHARLATAN - OBXD - OXE - ELEKTRO - MICROTERA - M1 - SURGE - RMiV]
DAW [ENERGY XT2/1U RACK WINXP / MAUDIO 1010LT PCI]

Thanks, next minor release will include some first GUI improvements as you requested: larger knobs, logarithmical scale for some sliders, display decimals etc.
Not sure about the scroll wheel yet, let's see.

There were some reports that the AU did not validate on OS X < 10.9. I have rebuilt the MAC OS X versions (AU, VST, VST3 32bit and 64bit) now for OS X 10.6 and above.
Auval validates it fine.
It is available on the download page (version 1.02 MacOSX):

Hello everybody,

today we released the first major update v1.10 of VAPORIZER. We added major functional enhancements like a second LFO, a sixth slot in the modulation matrix, sample & hold oscillators for OSC banks and LFOs, a new analog capacitive envelope model for all four envelope generators and we started with the first GUI enhancements (more to come!).

Here is the complete changelog:
  • Added sixth slot for modulation matrix.
  • Added second LFO!
  • Added new sample and hold oscillator for OSC banks and LFOs.
  • Added virtual analog, capacitive envelope model for all four ENVs (VCA, VCF, MOD ENV 1 & 2).
  • Changed slider, knob behavior to velocity sensitive.
  • Enabled scroll wheel on all sliders and knobs.
  • Added logarithmical skew scales to detune and cutoff knobs.
  • Improved decimal display on knobs.
  • Improved UI layout.
  • Improved stability and resource consumption.
  • Fixed: Comb filter was not working in v1.02.
  • Fixed: Distortion was not working properly on OS X.
  • Fixed bug with noise oscillator in v1.02.
As usual you get the FREE demo version here: http://www.vast-dynamics.de/?q=products

Hope you like it!! :phones: :tu:
