Hi. I'm a beginner music producer that produce film score music. I need some tips one witch film score/orchestral vst i should buy that have brass, cello, strings, etc. I open to any suggest, but preferably under 200 $.

Here some song i really like and i hope that the vst has something that sound almost like this:

Ps. If i had to chose one favorite composer, it had to be Hans Zimmer

If you say Hans Zimmer, Zebra2 can be the answer around $ 200. Otherwise you can go with some great sample libraries; Kontakt or Sample Tank come to mind, but maybe they are a little bit pricey with all the instruments.

Well then, based on your closing statement, choose the VST Mr. Zimmer uses -> Zebra HZ* by U-He ;)

Just keep in mind he also uses a live orchestra for the orchestral sounds :tu:

* NOTE - The Dark Zebra($99) (aka Zebra HZ) requires first a license of Zebra 2($199)

Welcome to the forum and good luck :tu:

All the music you posted is orchestral so a sample library is needed if you want to get close to that. IK's Miroslav is probably one of the cheapest. You can also try the free Sonatina orchestra.

For around $200 I know of the following orchestral libraries:

These two are stand-alone instruments, with complete orchestras:
http://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/philharmonik/ - €119 (32-bit VST only)
http://www.soundsonline.com/Symphonic-Orchestra - On sale for $99 (silver version)/$247 (gold version)

Choirs
http://www.soundsonline.com/Symphonic-Choirs - On sale for $99 (gold version)/$249 (platinum version)

The following requires that you already own Kontakt from Native Instruments, which is rather pricey at €399/$399. http://www.native-instruments.com/en/pr ... kontakt-5/
http://www.kirkhunterstudios.com/products_diamond.html - on sale for $150

Not a complete orchestra, only Violins. Also requires Kontakt.
http://www.ariasounds.com/symphonic_str ... lin_1.html - On sale for £29.99

as a starting Point for low Budget my vote would also go for this in the Gold Edition:

this library is a good Generalist.

Soundsonline libraries needs an iLok.

Plogue Aria and ZebraHZ. And effects.
I also wouldn't dismiss the old standards in movies and video games.
i.e. Korg Legacy M1/MDE-X and maybe even Sonar Sound Center & Dimension with stock sound sets.

But the need for more will give you GAS. ;)

Thanks for all the support. Never thought so many would help me. Thanks again :)

I'd get the Miroslav Classic (€59), the Silver orchestra (€99) and an iLok, that'd be roughly $200. Later you can upgrade to Gold when there's a sale. Also get the free Kontakt player, it comes with a free library, then you can use free libraries for Kontakt like Blakus cello.

HZ doesnt use zebra for orchestral sounds, he uses an orchestra for those....a bit out of your price range.

Save up and buy a decent library/player and in the meantime, pick up some free orchestral sfz files, there's some good stuff about

I thought that too. When I first went through the HZ sounds, what I heard immediately is the foley type impact sounds. There are some 'pads' though, and I decided to re-watch the Dark Knight again just to listen for them specifically.
I got a nice surprise I wasn't expecting. There is a place in the movie I thought was an orchestra the first time I viewed it, but recognized it as an exact patch from HZ when playing the movie specifically for sound identification. And it's very good doing orchestra type sounds also.

But yes, Kriminal is right. Zebra2 with the HZ option alone will cost you $248.00 minimum.
What I sugested before can be had for well under your $200.00 budget as long as you don't include ZebraHZ.

You (and others here) are more accurate than me

If I recall well, months ago someone (perhaps IrionDaRonin?) made a terrific track for a KvrOSC in Hans Zimmer-style, using just one free synth. Anyone else remember this song?
I know that OP asked for orchestral sounds, but this could be a good way to begin too.
