Hi, here again looking for advices (I'm a noob :help: ); I have a bass sample I'm trying to recreate with massive vst. Actually it's similar but it doesn't sound as good as the original. I tried ableton's compressor and eq8 but I'm not good at them yet, tried adding a second osc but and I'm not doing any progress, so I hope someone can help me!

Updated the post with soundcloud instead of zip file..and well: I didn't thought visualising the waveform could help..they're so different using a spectrum ..gonna try some more!

It sounds pretty close to me just mess with the wavetable position and the envelope linked to the amp. I don't really use Massive but you're already very close. The original is just more square and tighter.

Looking at the waveforms, you need a slightly faster attack and a lower decay time. Also, it sounds like your filter cutoff is set a little too high; you could experiment with taking it down slowly until you get a closer match.

It needs saturation. There's only so much Massive can do. Try running it through NI Driver or Alloy or Saturn or something.

Thanks so much for your answers! Gonna try them all on monday

Trying all your advices, gonna post the new bass sound when it sounds more similar to the original!
