I put together a drone/ambient space album under the name of Scanning the Planets and released it on Bandcamp ($3 aus). A couple of the tracks are old ones (a few years) and some are new and/or newish. I really wanted to finally have something complete, so I touched up the older ones a bit and put them together with the new. To be honest, I haven't had that much time to devote to music lately, but I'm happy with how it turned out. I enjoy listening to it myself (especially with headphones), so I hope someone else does too. All the tracks are available to stream on Bandcamp. There's only one on Soundcloud at the moment.
Next I'll be concentrating on creating a full album from scratch.

Released another free album featuring many of KVR alumni. This album is a collection of my most 'accessible' tracks and collabs from the last decade or so. "2020 Hindsight" features KVR regulars Remco (Emerald Tablet), Justin3am, Polyslax (Zoozither), Silent Sister, Vim Cortez, 22Tape, and many other familiar faces. Here is the Soundcloud link...

As always, thanks for listening.

You have really honed your craft, Jason. Your tracks are very detailed but the mix is always well focused, so details aren't lost when a lot of stuff is happening at once. That's a difficult thing to master.
I know I've heard most, if not all of these, in various stages.. but they work very well together.
Congrats on the release!

"The Future Never Came" EP has been out on Bandcamp for a few weeks.
It got a couple of nice reviews:
Peek-A-Boo Magazine
Brutal Resonance
And has been getting played on internet radio shows:
Bloodlit Radio
Electraumatisme
I am pleased with the response so far.

Congratulations on the reviews and radio play. The second review, in particular, is very informative and complimentary. This has been in heavy virtual rotation here for a couple of weeks now.
Good job

Thanks! Yes, the second review is more in depth but the first one will actually make it into print (10,000 copies in Belgium) which is a rarity these days. Both were quite useful to show to the wife who was starting to doubt my sanity for wanting to release an EP.seismic1 wrote:Congratulations on the reviews and radio play. It should be interesting to see if the new music video has any impact on promotion.
