Hello all,
I would like to inform you that the next Cubase 8 update (8.0.10) has been delayed it will now be released in the middle of March. This update addresses issues with the pre-count and metronome click, resolves issues using Mackie Control remotes and improves stability using third-party plug-ins. A complete list of fixes will be announced at the date of availability.
Best regards,
GN

Thanks Guillermo
Will there also be a demo of C8 in March?
I'm not willing to upgrade my C7.5 without trying the C8 demo first.

Will if fix the broken MOFX Editor VST? I can't upgrade until that's fixed.

Fingers crossed - so I expect a demo around "Musikmesse 2015" (was was my first assumption, which is still heavily delayed!).Guillermo Navarrete wrote:It should be released shortly after the update.LoopyFruit wrote:...

KEYS (Germany, PPV Medien) recently dropped a "special edition" with Wavelab 8 LE and Cubase 7 LE again. I didn't buy the mag to see if there are upgrade codes or anything. But I don't think that there will be an Cubase LE8 version (mag bundled, i.e. through PPV Medien) prior to Q3/2015.
Though I'd love to be pleasantly surprised
More important to me would be a fix of the blatant graphic glitches with the new menu bar. And a fix of reported glitches with the Control Room Meter. And once more an improvement of MCU's.
So I hope this will be addressed with .0.10 maintenance, as this caused huge waves in the communities.

I'm going to guess "Always on Top".Compyfox wrote:Care to elaborate what you mean with AOT?!claesbjo wrote:+1 yes please, can´t believe it got removed with CBP 8DrFolder wrote:Will there be AOT for the mixer? . For me it's crucial.
Personally not an issue simple F3, however usually on monitor 2 for ease.

Always on top works for plugins at least. And I haven't used the mix console in the same screen as the arranger in years with dual screens. So the "always on top" bug (the known one) is only of matter to me, if we talk about the mix console being in fullscreen mode.

Yes AOT is always on top and when working on a 4k screen it is crucial. Can't use Cubase other wise as the mixer disappears behind the arrangement the minute I click on it. Infuriating. Otherwise I have to split the screen in 2 and have a lot of wasted space.MFXxx wrote:I'm going to guess "Always on Top".Compyfox wrote:Care to elaborate what you mean with AOT?!claesbjo wrote:+1 yes please, can´t believe it got removed with CBP 8DrFolder wrote:Will there be AOT for the mixer? .
