As if Chipspeech wasn't awesome enough already, the new Lady Parsec HD is very impressive

Just, honestly i interested in the long release ability topic because exactly i find awesome idea use ChipSpeech as synth for classic a\o etc. sustained poly voices (choirs).

chipspeech is a vintage singing robot synth.
Yes we would make another product for realistic Choirs.
Cheers

Realistic choirs is exactly what I need. Sampling doesn't always work out...

) Howdy
I'm glad there's a lot of positive feedback with Lady Parsec HD so far! I've been toying around with her and seeing if I can make her sing opera.

How do I get a one syllable "I"? It seems like it's interpreted as some weird two-syllable "ah-ee" and then it stumbles over itself for the rest of the line.
e: n/m it's Page 21 of the manual. Ooops. Think it's working more or less okay now.

That's the fun part playing with speech synthesisers...you can make some crazy sounds by typing the words as they are spelled, but if you're looking for more accurate pronunciation it helps to spell words phonetically.
At least that's what I've found to be the case.

I think the trouble is that I've been knee-deep in a hardware binge which has been the focus of my attention. Which means I haven't really given it its due time to really study it, but rather just a utilitarian "do what I want, dammit" sort of attitude.
At any rate I think I got it more or less the way I wanted, though the first couple lines might have a bit of shuffle I wasn't expecting (or maybe I'm hallucinating):

Cool cover
I've found that sometimes I have to shift the start of notes in the piano roll as they don't quite trigger quick enough...but only occasionally.

A mouth is not a very fast device.
If you look at normal vocal tracks you will realize that the singer always starts a bit early so that the early consonants are done first and that the note you aim for coincides at the first vowel of the syllable that is sung.
Do not think about your MIDI track the same way you would for a synth line with a fast attack. Same goes for releases, make sure you let some "breathing" room to close previous syllables.
We have added a new section in the latest manual explaining this a bit.
Cheers

I wonder if there'd be any value to me recording myself singing the part first as a template, then base the midi notes based on that. I'll give it a shot on the next track.
