Wow, Wild Frontier's actually pretty great!! New production but old school ideas! That Spor remix is actually very good too.

The beats on Wild Frontier are pretty good, synth parts not so much. Nothing about it that doesn't sound like a re-hash of the last album though.

I don't like 'Nasty' or 'Wild Frontier', but 'The Day Is My Enemy' is quite nice, except that female voice, which I find annoying.

I actually prefer the other Prodigy remix of Front 242's Religion.

Also is the Headrock Dub mix of Mindfields is soooooo bad ass...

The bass is so good.
I think Prodigy peaked at Fat of the land. Haven't been impressed too much with anything after that.

Same here. I can count on one hand the tracks that I really really like from the newer albums: 'Memphis Bells', 'Colours', 'World's On Fire' and 'Stand Up'.bioroid wrote:I think Prodigy peaked at Fat of the land. Haven't been impressed too much with anything after that.

Well i found out you can pre-order the album on itunes for 9.99 so i ended up buying it.
You get 3 songs you can listen to right away, including the amazing "The day is my enemy" song which i posted above.
I'm just hoping that there are more songs like "the day is my enemy" on the rest of the album!

Pretty good vintage flashback, Liam is getting a lot out of that Roland W 30

Well I've been listening to the album for a while and apart from a few songs. I have to say this is not what I expected, and it's nowhere near as good as some of their earlier stuff.

I was very disappointed when I first heard the album in full. After repeated listenings it started to grow on me. It's nothing amazing, just more of the same. As someone said, 'more ammo for their live show'.
What really upsets me it's how lazy Liam has became, recycling stuff from older material (the beats from 'Firestarter' and 'Take Me To The Hospital' being the most obvious). And that 'Beyond The Deathray' has to be the biggest pile of s*** in their entire history.

Yeah this new album is by far the worst Prodigy album, it really sounds like Liam has run out of ideas now.
There's a few tracks I quite like, but most of them I don't...'Medicine' in particular is awful.
