Mainstage plugins not accessing user presets folder

Why is it that the plugins and effects that come with Mainstage are able to access presets stored in the main Logic plugin settings folder, but not the user plugin settings folder? Is there any way to get it to show those too? I know I could put all my user presets in the main folder but that defeats the whole purpose of keeping user presets separate from factory content.
