It's indeed a recent bug in the multi-sample player, a new M6.4.2 is in the pipeline.sbj wrote:EDIT: It seems it has something to do with REX files. When I try to play one MuLab crashes

I noticed that if I save an existing template with the same name
and tell MuLab to overwrite it - it makes the double
appearance go away.
Hope it helps

There is a new MuLab 6.4.2 test version in http://www.mutools.com/forsythia/
This fixes a new M6.4.1 bug in the multi-sample player.
And as the multi-sample player is used for playing rex files, this also affects rex files.
Should be ok again now.
How to upgrade from MuLab 6.2.x or up:
OSX: Simply replace the MuLab.app by the new version.
Windows: Simply replace the MuLab.exe + MuLab.ID files by the new versions.

Problem with 6.4.1
System:Windows 7
session 12 tracks with only mux instrument
Can load file , can save file as new
But Mulab crash after a few note.
No Logs after crash.
The session works fine with 6.3.6 and 6.3.8

The prob with the double project templates will be solved too in the next M6.4.3, but i'm also improving another aspect at the same time. M6.4.3 will be available later today.

There is a new MuLab 6.4.3 test version in http://www.mutools.com/forsythia/
Changes:
OSX: Simply replace the MuLab.app by the new version.
Windows: Simply replace the MuLab.exe + MuLab.ID files by the new versions.
Changes:
- Fixed a problem that caused the template projects to be listed twice.
- Increased the efficiency of several functions, e.g. when importing large MIDI files or having recorded ten thousands of events.
Also loading projects and other sequence related functions could be a bit faster.
OSX: Simply replace the MuLab.app by the new version.
Windows: Simply replace the MuLab.exe + MuLab.ID files by the new versions.
