Pads, bells, toy pianos, glockenspiel, processed guitars and drums, give their sounds to this small cinematic piece. All sounds were created using Alchemy, Padshop Pro and Kontakt. Produced, recorded and mixed with Tracktion 5.

Here's my latest. DAW was tracktion 5. Lots of use of Melodyne Edit 2, both for pitch correction and harmonies.

I just put this up. This was recorded onto a camera. I separated the audio in my video editor so that I could add some more parts in Tracktion. I also did some pitch and wobbly vocal fixing with Melodyne. Then I resynced the audio in my video editor.

It starts with just guitar and vocals. Backing tracks come in for the second verse.

Started in 3, but mostly produced/mixed in 5 (due to new laptop). No recording within Tracktion. I was already used to recording vocals "simply" & separately (I also did initial editing out any unwanted noise in Audacity, which I might also occasionally use lightly for odd tasks and the rare effect). Only recorded vocals though, not my own instrumental recording. I use/tweak loops and other sounds.

There's actually a prominent drum loop in this from the loop pack that I got along with Tracktion 3!

(It's "dirty south" something-or-other.

Tracktion is ideal for mashups; something I really enjoy making every now and then.
This mashup - featuring Nirvanas Smells Like Teen Spirit and the Merrie Melodies theme - is done entirely in Tracktion 5.

All the sound effects in the beginning of the film (except for the bird and frog noise, of course, and that 909 kick), is done with Tracktions own Analog and FM synthesizer plugins. (If you haven't bought them yet, I highly recommend them.)
