We're more on the rhythm side tonight, let the drums talk to our heart and body. Just the right pace to enjoy the flight of sounds and images entering our mind. Best for this episode to sit back and let the beats grab you for an aural journey of chill. And this is what you get to hear: Baltes & Erbe (S-thetic²), Harald Grosskopf (Synthesist 2010), Organoid (Spectral Theory), Beat.Dowsing (Rising Current), Seazo (A Tribute to Cosmos), and eCe boas (Fischland). And don't miss out the upcoming events by Baltes & Erbe (E-Day and more) and Stefan Erbe with Harald Grosskopf on March 7.

A joyride with sequences and more traditional electronic elements is on tonight's playlist. We actually have the gentlemen of synth musicians in this episode. And as kind as the guys are, as kind is the music playing for us in many different colors. Join in for great tunes by Kellerkind Berlin (Signs), Broekhuis, Keller & Schönwälder (Direction Green), Howard Givens & Craig Padilla (Life Flows Water), DigitalSimplyWorld (Seeds), Helicon Wave (Black Halo Pyramid), and Alba Ecstasy (Unpredictable Intersections Over the Time and Now). And don't miss the opportunity to experience Broekhuis, Keller and Schönwälder live on March 13 and 14 in Repelen.

Tonight's a special episode, looking ahead at the upcoming E-Day festival in Oirschot, Netherlands on April 18th. It's also special as it is a call to action, as we are close to the action date for the event, that is March 12th to decide upon the event taking place. And to make sure, the more tickets are booked the more likely E-Day will continue to present great artists in an enjoyable environment. So best go for it as soon as you can. And to give you a tiny help, you will get the full range of live acts of E-Day on this show. These are Peter Nooten, Filterkaffee (Schönwälder & Rothe), Baltes & Erbe, Skoulaman, and Air Sculpture. Great stuff for a good price.

Do you believe in souls? Strange question, you might say. But having a soul seems not obvious and especially not very scientific. Nevertheless, tonight's show presents music for your soul. Beautiful scapes floating and tickling all along, calm but still breathtaking. So, find a nice and cosy place, lean back and dive into the aural scenes by Marsen Jules (The Empire of Silence), FlatOpus (Melancholy Monk), Leniad (Threads), Harald Nies & Wolfproject, Keving Lyons (Night Visions), Amotken (Kuro), and Numina & Zero Ohms (Broken Stars Through Brilliant Clouds).

Treibklang, thank you for continuing to do this, week after week. I admit I can only understand half of what you say but music is a universal language!

Last weekend I enjoyed the festivities of the Schallwelle award prize givings with about 300 artists, makers, and friends of electronic music. A real fun to meet all those people again and have nice talks all evening long. So, still being in a happy mood, tonight's choice of tracks surely reflects this, although it's rather quietly sounding. Ah, well, simply take half an hour and listen to the show, very nice tracks enlisted by Sebastien Marchal (Goldfish), Forrest Fang (Letters to the Farthest Stars), Altocirrus (Members of AmbiOfusion - Forever Together), Curious Inversions (Schoolyard Crows), and Mythos (Jules Verne Forever).

If this edition has anything to do with easter, it is some of tonight's artists live eastern from my place. No, it's quite about beatiful music tonight, so stash your eggs and pick up your bunny for a dance. We'll have a rhythmic ride along with tracks by Plasterdog and Smartfish (Pindaric), moonbooter (Live 4), Mateo Relief (Midnight Radio 37), Vadim Kotinskiy (Mood), Faris (Pause), and Abiz Sonko (Markarian 421).

It's always interesting to see, when artists pick up traditional elements in their music, but not sticking to it by copying the old style. Adding new thoughts and re-interpreting what was laid out by masters in their domain to build upon it, advancing to a modern style and age of music. The tracks from tonights playlist will surely remind you of the past, but sound like today, welcome to the future home. Tune in and listen to Sequential Dreams (Legacy), moonbooter (Live Eins), Rewo (Zeppelins 2.0), MarcE (Forever Together), and DigitalSimplyWorld (Planet of the Butterflies).

This seems like a really interesting show!
I've added it to my mobile podcast player so will start listening soon...

However, the podcast feed only starts at episode 278 (last 20 eps I guess) which makes it hard for listeners using the feed to listen to early episodes.
Any chance of a feed exposing all content? I know RSS-feeds are not generally thought to be used that way but in cases like this I think it's preferable.

Thanks,
Anton

Hi Anton,

Thanks for listening and liking. :)
Unfortunately, I could not find any setting within the podcast management component to change the size of the feed. I will check further, but I am not sure whether it is available.

All the best,

"Don't drink and drive", who has not heard this phrase before? Well, for a podcast like tonight, it is rather "Don't listen and drive" as this edition rather is on the quiet side of the force. Nevertheless, it contains brilliant beauty all over the show, so not to miss out, if you also cherish more peaceful music, ambient that is. And it's also a tiny consolation for all of you not being at E-Day this weekend, as the first track is the first live act on stage, Ron Boots as Derelict Thoughts (Autumn Moon). But there are more contributors who make a great collection of ambient: Riz Masten (Girls Alive), Frore & Shane Morris (Blood Moon), Ambient Circle (Session 19), Carey Moore (Trout Ribs), as well as NFushigi and Cousin Silas (Midnight Radio Compilation Beautiful Julia).
