Looks good - it would be great with two of those opposite each other in a greenhouse - you'd maximise a lot of space for tomatoes, cannabis etc

Precisely...if you look on the site as well, they come with optional LED lighting...essential for any serious grow :hihi:

Can't hurt to try. The desk looks pretty cool, even though I'm not sure it's functional.

I think there are a couple of Link's missing. :hihi:

On a serious sidenote - anybody know the "weight" of these things? The page says "stainless steel" for the sides of the desk. So I assume this thing will be darn heavy.

Honestly not too sure about that one to be fair, I was more concerned about the weight of my monitors on the top shelf as they're heavy buggers (Mackie MR8's), but apparently they'll hold the weight no problem. Thankfully a desk isn't something that needs to be moved about all the time really, if it is gonna be that heavy. The sides probably wouldn't be solid stainless steel, maybe just a covering over some more MDF or something I'm assuming.

I sure hope so. I have to take "weight" into consideration with this apartment build.

Then again, another thing I have to take into consideration is the "height" of the top shelf. That's about 10cm higher than at what position my monitor speakers currently are, with the tweeter(s) directly aimed at my ears. This would also offset my LCDs by another 5 cm "higher". And I recently put them on a custom made monster bass trap which is about 100cm high - rolls not counting.

I joined the game - don't know if I'll ever make it. But the concept definitely is interesting. Especially if you combine the keyboard desk with the main desk, but leave out the racks.

No doubt you did... :hihi:
It is spam, here's the link without the referral.

http://www.studiodesk.net/giveaways/win ... ander-desk

Use this instead of the OPs if you detest the sort of disingenuous posting that he provided. A correct post would have included the disclaimer. If you want to give me the referral, here's my link:

http://www.studiodesk.net/giveaways/win ... lucky=2343

Notice the ?lucky=2343 at the end of the link. That's passed on to the system to link your entry to mine giving me an additional entry. I have no problem with this in general, but I can't stand it when people aren't up front about their personal interest in providing the link.

And because of your honesty I used your referral link. I won't put mine here as I'd rather others use ghettosynth's. I hate it when full disclosure is ignored in the hopes of tricking people with either affiliate links or referral links. Just be honest and forthright and people will reward you (at least thats the world I'd like to live in and thus try to support when I can)

Didn't mean this post in any kind of sneaky way to be fair, I didn't deny it to other people who realized the referral link give extra entries. All I was doing was sharing a link that might of been of interest to a few people here, sorry if I didn't fully explain myself to your satisfaction. Would you like to know what I had for breakfast this morning as well? Or what I last shat out? :clown:

Yeah, the keyboard desk piqued my interest mostly, mainly due to the fact that the "studio desk" I'm currently using is something I bought a number of years ago from Lidl lol. It's a pretty robust and spacious desk to be honest, but it's a bit high up, so I'm usually straining my arms a bit when I play keyboard. My own speakers are in a bit of an annoying position at the minute also, I bought some Adam Hall stands a while back, and at their lowest setting, I still find they're a little high (my ears are more closer to the centre of the woofer cone than the tweeter).

Tasty?

You need a bird on the desk to make it pretty damn tasty, son :D
