We're hoping this year.
Cool!
I strongly believe this will convenience one or another guy (including myself :-)) finally buy Zebra.

Zebra2 rev3304 working fine.
Operating system? Can't reproduce this on Win 7 64Bit using Zebra 2.7.1 (vst2, 32bit) & Reaper 4.77 (32bit).

Thanks! Slipped through. Filed a bug.

ACE 3437 vst2 32bit
C-2 note not making a sound, it is should be ? (maybe limit for lower octaves range in new versions ? Of course it not critical just interesting).

On OS X Mavericks 10.9.5 in 64 bit Reaper 4.77 and 64 bit Maschine 2.2.3, Zebra2 3437 is not remembering when I choose any alternate skin and set it as the default skin. This is in the VSTi and AUi.

Same thing happening with Bazille - it won't remember that I've set the gearporn skin as default. I'm guessing it'd happen in Ace too but I don't have any alternate Ace skins installed.

Windows 8.1

I fixed it by Moving my Zebra data directory from user/Documents/u-he to the same dir as zebra2.dll, reinstalling, and clicking Clear cache/re-scan in Reaper

Yay! Works!

+1
Professional technicians are assessed by the abilities they possess.
Amateur technicians are assessed by the tools they possess - and the amount of those tools, with an obvious preference to the latest hyped ones.

Skin memory issues might be due to our move to the preferences panel. Ooopsie… You'll get a glimpse very soonishly. We'll post intermediate updates in the latest builds section as we go, but each plug-in needs to be updated individually. This will improve things vastly. Unfortunately all graphics people work on merch and artwork for the trade show but that should be over some time next week (printing deadlines). We hope to present the preferences panel along with a really cool update during Messe.

I updated Zebra and ACE and now all my projects in Ableton Live are crashing, I have to admit that I have not moved past Live6, (and I never will, I love it! I would rather go Bitwig and take advantage of the current promo) so i would like to roll back, where can i find the previous versions? are the download links from the LogicX GUI thread still active?
Thanks!
But then a strange fear gripped me
and I just couldn't ask....

Yes, the links should still be active.

Please send us crash logs. We couldn't reproduce any crashes yet. Have you done the trick to "force rescan" plug-ins? - It seems to be really important for Live. Not sure if it's available in Live6 though.

Post

YES!!! for the rollback~~~ omg, big sigh of relief, I have the crash logs from the console, I will email them to you guys, the problem was actually updating all of my u-he products, ACE, Bazille, Zebra, MMF2 and Filterscape, but I have rolled back and they work,
actually I think it relates to Presets and folder/file management, as new projects with the latest versions worked great, but old projects with presets made with previous versions were going cookie, especially presets in FilterscapeVA made with previous version. I started noticing that opening my old presets were behaving in a weird manner.
For example, I would load an old preset in Filterscape VA and it would show in the PReset Nav Bar, but trying to use the Arrows to select another preset, then the Nav Bar would go blank, then for some reason it would try to load a preset called Untitled (AU) {which is not even mine!} and then it would hang for a while only to become active again, this behaviour was found in Live 6 and PlogueBidule. I am using a MAC, running Yosemite 10.10.2
Sorry for being an old stubborn guy using not updated software, but hey, I cant stand the way that Live Warp function changed and if it aint broken...
anyhoo, thanks so much for replying

Garzita, that sounds terribly much like Live's plug-in cache. Whenver we get those kinds of crashes in Live, the cmd-rescan option fixes it (since Live 8 definitely, not sure about 6).

Hello,

just a question and a few considerations to be sure I understand what's going on: are these new updates meant as official releases or more a work in progress updates instead?

I mean, if it's the latter it seems that u-he have completely converted to a perpetual beta approach, and I'm not sure I like it.

If it's the former, which I hope, I guess some hot fixes are on the way.

I don't really mean to be mean, but I'm actually trying to figure things out: the previous update was in september 2014 IIRC, and I didn't update in fear of getting regressions and something breaking. Now I see several months after a new wave of updates, check here that there are things to be addresses, and read that the next update, apart from hot fixes for very critical issues, is planned for this summer.... so, who wants to use the most stable version should better stick to the latest official releases in the website?

Thanks,
Mario

The three udpates we posted are now official versions.

Especially Zebra 2.7.1 was an important update because the previous version from our website would not open in Logic. We spent the past two months (since the bug was known) making it solid. We need to do the same thing with Diva, but we still have to address a regression before we can do so.

Also, Bazille needed a fix because some presets could go silent.

ACE needed the multichannel MIDI support for Bitwig.

That's why we published them. There's nothing preliminary about this.
