I want to control my virtual wah pedals with a hardware foot pedal.

Are there any less expensive options besides the IK Multimedia Stealth pedal? I already have the audio IF of the Stealth and Studio One Pro so I feel like I'd be paying for stuff I don't need.

Id like to be able to control pedals in ReValver and JamVOX as well.

What has worked for you.

In advance, thanks for your help.

most "all in one" guitar pedal boards over the last 15 years have midi out. Look around at used digitech rp series, ART, and others.

If you want a straight ahead midi pedal board you might want to consider a
yamaha mfc -10 or a roland fc-300

I have a Behringer FCV100. Hardware-wise it's okay, but it's the opposite polarity from what my MIDI keyboard was expecting, which meant Googling for it and cutting up a cable to swap things around.

And then I didn't wind up using it much anyway, and now I've switched from an Axiom to a K-Board that doesn't have a pedal input.

But the Behringer was fairly cheap. :P

Thanks for the info. I'm not sure that I've got this right however... you plug a keyboard controller into your keyboard and then map that to the wah pedal in the amp sim??

The FC-300 is way more than I need.

I have an old Digitech control pedal that might work... I'll give that a go first.

Thank you for all the great info.

www.midiexpression.com

this is usb, can accept any incoming pedal type I guess, $49. CV expression pedals are only $20.

Seems to be insanely versatile too. Has anyone used this little bugger?! I use Studio One with GR4Pro, Amplitube and JamVOX.

Some MIDI controller keyboards (like the M-Audio Axiom) have an expression pedal input, which converts it to a MIDI CC message. That's what I was using.

That's what I thought. Ny LX-61 does not have expression but I've got some other ideas. Thanks!
