Does anyone have recommendations for some good metallic percussion sample libraries similar to the sounds frequently heard in modern epic action and horror movies? The only one I know of is Metallurgy, but I don't know how good it is beyond just the few demos I've heard.

Not a whole library, but here's a couple of Kontakt instruments from www.sampleism.com that might suit (see below for soundcloud demos):
Stainless kitchen vibes: An Ikea stainless steel cutlery holder, multi-sampled to bring you a clangy but melodic foray into inharmonic overtones (£3.50)
Pot Lid: A struck pot-lid - a beautiful tubular-bell like sound, multi-sampled of course (£4.00)

NI Damage has a very nice selection of metal hits that could easily fit into an epic composition or horror films. Though, the entire Damage library isn't just dedicated to metal percussion.

Impact Soundworks ReForged is excellent
Also, Soundiron has some of the best percussive metallic sets I've heard

This gets asked every so often, so it would be worth searching KVR for 'metallic percussion' and variations; you'll find threads like this:

Soundiron have a whole range of metallic libraries. Then there's Patchpool's Metallurgy 2 (excellent samples even if you don't have Alchemy), and for small-scale stuff Atomhub's Workshop and Loopsdelacreme's Home Impacts. Or try sampling Chromaphone...

If you need less epic and instead very small metallic percussion sounds, have a look at my TMI instrument.
