Hi, I'd like adivce on some headphones.

Im looking for something in the 150-300 dollar range that is well suited for vocal and midrange.

Ofcourse if it is good for mixing/mastering I'm open for that too.

Dont be afrain to tell me what's up with this biz here in the headphones. i know nothing about phones.

Right now I have a pair of BX8 d2's so Im looking for something quality in the headphones if that works.

ALso I have a par of 280 HD pro by senheiser.

Your help will be greatly apreciated.

Thanks a lot!.

You mean headphones good for tracking vocals or for mixing?

If you mean for tracking obviously you'll need closed headphones.
If it's for mixing I prefer open cans.

Many good headphones available. I just happen to like the Beyerdynamic DT-series for it's velvetlike earcushions.
They come in closed/semi-open and open design (770/880/990) and 32, 250 and 600 Ohm versions.

For the latter (600 Ohm) you will need a good pre-amp though.
