layzer wrote:great tune to play in the background while doing complicated hardware synthesizer electronic repair work!
Thanks for checking this out and commenting, layzer :)

I did some "complicated" door-handle repair work earlier

Spooky! I did some complicated software synthesiser repair work earlier :D
It wasn't me! (well, actually, it probably was) - apparently now an 'elderly' so maybe I forgot!

Thanks very much for listening, Morgaxx. Glad you liked it :)

I found myself nodding off a couple of times during the mixing sessions for this

Earlier I went down the Nuclear for a Ruby with the Trouble.

It may not be a duet in the traditional sense
You mean an ensemble! Or a Ménage à trois... :o
I try to avoid tabloids, especially the front page

Possibly a threnody for a star whose death has not yet been recorded.

Thanks very much for listening and commenting, Codestation. Glad you liked it :)

I've been playing "Fluctuations in the Quantum Foam" a bit recently. Good stuff.

folderol wrote:Definitely a late evening wind-down track. Enough detail to keep your attention, but nothing jarring.
Thanks very much for listening and commenting, folderol. It's much appreciated :)

This one was put together late night/early morning. I think this piece reflects that, although many of my late-night labours have been more energetic.

Very gentle and pastoral.

Subtle complex undertones and tension.

Enjoyed it completely!
Thanks very much, PatchAdamz. Glad you enjoyed it :)

The next track will feature none of the qualities detailed above

Thanks very much for listening and commenting, Matt. Glad you liked this one :)

Definitely a touch of sadness here.

FLWrd wrote:Nice. I particularly liked the short dissonances of overlapping notes, but then again, I'm a bit of a sucker for the minor 2nd.
Thanks very much for listening and commenting FLWrd. Glad you liked it :)

Yeah those dissonances were helped by the relative minimalism of this piece. All of the note durations are quite short, but with longish release envelope settings, combined with a fairly large reverb. Any more notes and this could have become very messy.

This is excellent. Very much enjoyed. Thanks.

I thought your last track was an ambient shoe-in. Entirely suitable :tu:
