Well didn't find another solution, so I automate the knobs. I also found out that the pitch and amplitude modulation knobs have the same issue.

Here's my submission.

My first One Synth Challenge entry. Quite challenging indeed. Fun!

I believe I've added it to the Soundcloud group, and I hope I've grokked all the rules.

Eight instances of Dexed / Ableton Live 9 / Minimal built-in Fx.

Because I miss my TX81Z.

very good! There is something I find very attractive about its relative simplicity and it pushes me right along. Hadt to listen to all your Soundcloud music as a result and enjoyed it all. Thanks.

I quite like this track and, like bftucker, had a listen to your other tracks. I quite like this Metal Skin playlist. Really like the straight-forward approach & your sound design is quite nice.

Finally, here's my entry:
https://soundcloud.com/fabio-calzolari/ ... -no-return
Made with:
FL Studio 11
21 instances of DEXED VST plugin
Effects VST:
Mo' Verb
SonEQ
RetroDelay
keFir
Limiter No6
FerricTDS

It has been a pain. I started with another track, i made all the patches, then got stuck in "creativity", as i can't develop the main idea anymore.
About two weeks ago, while playing with DEXED and the thousands of sounds available for the DX7 i stumbled in a dark piano-pad and the chord progression of the slow verse popped out of nowhere. Then the whole track grown by itself. I had a good amount of hard times trying to mix and master this all, and even with the invaluable tips and suggestion of a PRO like z.prime (Thanks mate, thanks a lot  ) it still does'nt sound as i would..... but I can't get any better than how it is right now, so i hope you enjoy it :)

Hi all, Sorry for the repost, but my track didn't get picked up by the moderator on Soundcloud, and I'm thinking it might be because I didn't give enough detail around Fx used (having now re-read the rules). I also changed the license to Creative Commons.

https://soundcloud.com/bluerobotmusic/b ... d-by-dexed

So, here it is again:

Eight instances of Dexed, All Fx were built-in Live 9 Suite: 3-ch EQ (x5), Compressor (x9, all tracks including a drum bus), Filter Delay (x3), Amp Simulator (Softube) (x2), Ping Pong delay (x1), Reverb (x1 Fx Send/Return A), Delay (x1 Fx Send/Return B), Glue Compressor (x1 Master), Limiter (x1 Master).

I've re-submitted on Soundcloud. Please let me know if I need to do anything else.

Regards,

Blue Robot

No worries, moderator is sometimes just busy. And yes, do list the specific types of FX used. Cheers and welcome to the OSC. :)
