If I have a project open in Bitwig already and want to open another project I can do this using Bitwigs open file dialogue and the project opens fine in a new tab.
If however I use the Windows file explorer and double click on the Bitwig project file, it tries to open a fresh instance of the program which then hangs on the start-up logo. I can go back to the existing open project and that continues to work but the other instance / project never gets established and the logo just hangs there (fortunately not on top of other windows).
Is anyone else having this issue?
I much prefer to browse for projects (and files in general) outside of programs as I can use the available tools to make this much quicker and more efficient, so this is somewhat annoying.
This is in Windows 7 with both 1.1.7 and 1.1.8rc1

Same thing happens here as well.
I'm on 1.1.7 and win 7 x64.
It also does the same if you try and launch it twice from the start menu.
Looks like they aren't checking if bitwig already exists when it runs a second time.

Win 10 with Ryzen 5950x, Bitwig 5, too many plugins, Novation Circuit Mono Station and now a lovely Waldorf Blofeld.
